Born in 1959, entrepreneur, professional and university lecturer.

Since 1987, he has been an Adjunct Professor of Accounting and Financial Reporting at the Bocconi University in Milan, where he currently lectures in the Advanced Training Course for Company Lawyers, as well as a lecturer in the Master in Family Officers, organised by AIFO Academy.

He has been qualified as a Chartered Accountant since 1982 and has been enrolled in the Register of Auditors since 1991.

Since 1995, he has been enrolled in the Register of Technical Consultants (CTU) at the Court of Milan. He is currently a member of the Accounting Principles Commission at the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts (ODCEC) of Milan. As part of his professional activity, he holds and has previously held positions as Director and/or member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of several listed and unlisted companies

He is currently Standing Auditor of Fiera Milano spa, as well as Industrie Costruzioni Maltauro spa, Foodness spa and other smaller companies.

In the past, he was Standing Auditor and/or Independent Director of some important financial intermediaries, such as Eurizon Spa (Intesa Group) and Idea Fimit Sgr spa, as well as Independent Director of several listed and unlisted companies, including BFC Media spa (Publisher of L'Espresso and Forbes), Arkimedica spa (now Eukedos) and Greenvision Ambiente Spa.

He was Alternate Auditor, during the period 2018-2021 of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena. As far as entrepreneurial activity is concerned, he has been a founding partner, since 2000, of Pigreco Finance srl, a company specialised in the assembly and management of private equity transactions carried out through the creation of Club Deals with entrepreneurs and financial investors.

In the financial years 2018-2022, he made several divestments with excellent returns on capital. Since 2002 and until 2015, he was part of the management team of two private equity funds under Luxembourg law, focused on Italian SMEs Absolute and Abacus private Equity. Author of numerous appraisals of the economic capital of numerous companies, including listed ones, such as Damiani Group Spa, Mapei Spa, Tiscali spa, Amplifon spa, Zambon Spa.

Member of the Executive Committee of AIFO since 2014. Co-author of numerous manuals and textbooks on Accounting and Financial Statements (including “Accounting and Financial Statements - Cases and Exercises”, edited by PROVASOLI A., Edizioni Unicopli, Milano1989). Co-author of the essay “Il Crack Finanziario dell'Italia”, Sperling & Kupfer, Milan 1994.

He has been an AIAF (Italian Association of Family Lawyers) member since 1982.
